AbeBooks names JK Rowling Most Collectible Author

AbeBooks.com, a site for finding new and used books of all types, analyzed sales data from 2007 and
created a list of the top collectible authors. JK Rowling took the top spot followed by Roderick Gordon, Brian Williams, and Stephen King:
On-going demand for signed Harry Potter books means Rowling tops the index although few first editions of her debut book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, reach the market. An autographed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sold for $5,500 just after its release last July.
If you're in the market for a signed
Potter novel, we recommend you check out our friends at
JKR's Army. They'll tell you what to look out for when shopping for a genuine JK Rowling signature. Thanks to Ali for the tip!

Starting tomorrow, they will be at Amherst College in Amherst, MA and that is where the CBS Early Show will be broadcasting from.
All the merchandise seen in the piece, including broomsticks, house ties and scarves, was provided by our partner

NECA action figures review

A
detailed review of the new NECA action figures has been published online, along with some close up images of the products. Ratings are given for different aspects of the products, including packaging, sculpting and accessories. The reviewer awards the Voldemort figure three and a half stars overall, but Harry, the Death Eater and Dementor only three.
I really, really wanted to love these figures. In the package they blew me away, It wasn't until I had them open that some of their more glaring faults came to surface. In the end, I placed a lot of weight on the sculpt and paint, and didn't take off as much for articulation, value and accessories as I might have.
The figurines will be released this spring.
